Support broadcast freedom

Democrats in Congress are trying to censor free speech (again), and it’s time to do something. Enjoy talk radio? Christian radio? Rush Limbaugh? Sean Hannity? James Dobson, and many other great religious broadcasters? I do. Speak up.

America was founded on principles of religious freedom and tolerance. Those who first ventured here did so to gain the right to worship God freely, as they believed was right. They came so their voices could be heard, so they could say what they believed. In the past, you spoke your mind. If somebody disagreed with you, they had the right to speak out and disagree. If someone wants to disagree with Rush or anyone else, let them start their own show, or call in and argue, if they have the guts. The government has no right to mandate broadcaster viewpoints. After all, liberal media sources aren’t fair and balanced. Why can the liberal media spew forth their socialistic agendas, and Hollywood can promote lewdness, gratuitous violence, profanity, etc. under the guise of “free speech” but conservative broadcasters can’t freely speak their minds?

I feel that the democrats are trying to shut the conseratives radio talk shows down because they can not get viewers for their liberal talk shows. I have news for the democrats, the far left liberal have nothing most of us want to hear!
Keep up the good work Greg!

  3. Very well written…you’re right on the money…you make some excellent points.

Also, I wanted you to know that I have added you to my blogroll!

  4. Thanks for the comments, I bookmarked you guys’ blogs, too. Good point, goodtime, since liberal talk shows are pretty much pointless ranting. The democrat party doesn’t have an agenda that they’re willing to openly and truthfully discuss. About all that’s left is anger, bitterness, and how the Republican party will bring doom to America. Not exactly what most people want more of.
